Guided tour of the old town of Wetzlar (1.5 h)

In the old town with its medieval squares and winding alleys, charming half-timbered houses next to representative buildings from the time of the Imperial Chamber Court characterize the townscape. Goethe's stay in Wetzlar is commemorated in the Lottehaus. Experiences in the summer of 1772 inspired the poet to write his first great literary success, the epistolary novel "The Sorrows of Young Werther". Fascinating is also the unfinished gothic cathedral, which reflects a piece of the city's history with its combination of Romanesque and gothic style elements.

The city tour takes place at 10 am. Payment before the event.
